Dr. Thai Binh Tran

Dr. Thai Binh Tran is a strategic management and aviation expert with over 20 years of experience spanning academia, management consulting, executive leadership, and international aviation. She currently serves as Head of the Logistics and Supply Chain Management Department at the University of Management and Technology Ho Chi Minh City (UMT), Founder & CEO of Great Peace International, and Visiting Lecturer at the University of Science and Technology of Hanoi (USTH). Previously, she held multiple leadership positions at Vietnam Aviation Academy, including Head of the Air Transport Economics Department and Deputy Head of the ICAO TrainAir Plus Office.

Before entering academia, Dr. Tran built an accomplished career in international consulting and corporate leadership, serving as Senior Strategy Consultant at PwC Vietnam, General Manager of Marketing at Cambodia Angkor Air, Marketing Manager at AA Corporation, and research consultant for Euromonitor International and Zenith Global. She has successfully delivered more than 30 strategic consulting projects across aviation, consumer goods, banking, manufacturing, logistics, retail, healthcare, and infrastructure sectors.

Holding a PhD in Management Sciences from the University of Poitiers (France), Dr. Tran specializes in strategic management, aviation economics, supply chain management, international marketing, market intelligence, and business transformation. She has presented at numerous international conferences and actively contributes to global aviation and management research networks.

She also serves as Section Editor of the International Journal of Aviation Science and Technology (IJAST) and has collaborated extensively with international universities, aviation organizations, and industry partners across Asia and Europe.
